Killer spent his victim's money on seducing others

AN IT worker who killed a woman he met on the internet before emptying her bank account and dumping her body in a suitcase was found guilty of murder yesterday.

Clinton Bailey, 36, used the money to buy champagne for another girlfriend, just days after the death of Leah Questin.

He invited the woman round for a drinking session while Ms Questin's body was still stored in his garage last September.

Bailey had posed as a BBC executive and used gifts to seduce women he met on the internet.

In fact, he had no steady job, and was described by a source close to the case as a conman who "lied through his teeth".

Bailey, a South African, of Lewisham, south London, now faces a life sentence after being convicted of killing Ms Questin, 37, a care assistant, by an Old Bailey jury.

Ms Questin's remains, found dumped in rural Kent, were identified by fingerprint records.
