Kids knocked down by car in Tranent
TWO children have suffered leg injuries after being knocked down by a car.
The incident occurred in Tranent, East Lothian, just after 1pm yesterday.
It is understood the youngsters ran out from behind a bus into oncoming traffic on Tranent High Street.
Emergency services raced to the scene and motorists faced lengthy delays.
Both children were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
