Kids enjoy a Right Blether

SCOTLAND'S Commissioner for Children and Young People met hundreds of schoolchildren in Musselburgh this week.

Tam Baillie was joined by children from dozens of schools across Scotland as part of A Right Blether - his national consultation with children and young people.

Wednesday's visit was part of a Scotland-wide tour which has already seen him meet thousands of children and young people at more than 40 schools, youth centres, care units, festivals and events to hear their views and help them understand more about their rights.

People were also able to join the meeting in Musselburgh via the internet and question the commissioner live.

The Right Blether consultation aims to use the views, ideas and advice offered by youngsters to inform a national vote in November.
