Kidney poll is challenge

AN online survey has been launched for people in Edinburgh to test their knowledge of kidney disease.

Kidney Research UK said the project would help raise awareness and help locals spot potential signs of the illness.

Prof Neil Turner, the charity's chairman, said: "I hope that the survey goes a long way to raising the profile of what is very serious and very misunderstood illness."
