Keeping track of rail workers since 1833

A TRAIN-SPOTTER'S collection, including employment records of railway workers dating back to the invention of the locomotive, has been published online.

Ancestry.co.uk said the 1833-1963 records included the pay of late 19th-century train drivers, which was the equivalent of 10,000 today.
