Keep it quiet: Spy budget is $80bn

The entire US intelligence budget was published for the first time yesterday - it is just over $80 billion (£50.6bn) for 2010.

Figures show $27bn of that goes to military intelligence. Steven Aftergood, a secrecy specialist at the Federation of American Scientists, said the release was "the most complete disclosure we have ever had".
