John’s snap judgements

ADVENTURE photographer John Beatty will share stories from 25 years of assignments in 38 countries at Edinburgh University next month.

Footage from the ferocious volcanic eruptions in Iceland, Great Migrations of the Serengeti and beauty of his native Peak District will all feature.

The event is part of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society’s Inspiring People talks programme. The talk is on Thursday, December 8 at Old College, South Bridge at 7.30pm.
