Joey hopes to stir things up

A CITY bartender is hoping to shake things up when he flies to New Zealand for the finals of a prestigious cocktail-making competition.

Joey Medrington, who works at Montpeliers, is one of 24 international competitors in the 42Below Cocktail World Cup.

He will be heading to Queenstown today after winning the national final in London last month. He will spend four days mixing and shaking his way through a series of competitions.
