Job sharing could boost female MPs

MPs should be allowed to "job share" in order to encourage more women into parliament.

Green party leader Caroline Lucas said it would allow MPs to retain stronger ties with their constituencies. She said: "MPs could keep their caring responsibilities, voluntary work and continue part-time in their profession, enabling more women to get into politics."
