Joanna's top of the swaps

A CHARITY "swishing" event is being held by a woman who is gearing up to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Joanna Buggy is tackling the mountain in March next year with 11 colleagues from Grayling UK who, between them, hope to raise 48,000 for Leonard Cheshire Disability.

The swishing event - where people take their old clothes to swap with others - takes place tomorrow at 19 Thistle Street. Tickets cost 10.

Ms Buggy said: "I don't have a particular affinity with Leonard Cheshire Disability. However, they do an amazing job and have a number of great services in Scotland.

"I have disabled relatives and therefore understand the fantastic job such services offer."
