Jilted lover tells of ‘disturbing’ messages
Julie Zelent, 51, claims she got “disturbing” and “nasty” mail prior to the court action against Alan Savage, a former chairman of Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
She is suing Mr Savage because she claims he forced her to give up a high-powered £54,000-a-year job with the Royal Bank of Scotland in London in order to move to the Highlands to live with him. Ms Zelent is claiming a loss of earnings, employment benefits and pension rights as a breach of promise for marriage.
She was giving evidence yesterday for the fourth day at Inverness Sheriff Court.
The civil case continues.
