Jeweller plan for web cafe

AN internet cafe next to the Grassmarket is set to be turned into a jewellery shop.

Plans have been lodged to change the use of the West Bow Internet Cafe to a retail unit.

The building would be used to house "Black Box", which is described as "a curious design boutique". As well as jewellery, it would also operate as a craft shop.

The plans have been lodged by Highlands-based Christopher John Parkin. City planners are expected to make a decision in the coming months.
