Jeweller guilty of incinerating wife

A NEW York jeweller has been convicted of killing his wife by incinerating her in an oil drum.

Werner Lippe, 68, confessed three times that he killed his wife, Faith, 49, as they were going through divorce proceedings. He later recanted the confessions, saying he made them up out of fear, but he was found guilty yesterday.
