'˜Jesus' attacks man dressed as Jedi Knight in Dundee

Dundee police have launched a public appeal after a man wearing a Jedi Knight costume was assaulted during a Halloween night out.

The man, dressed as a member of the mystical order from the Star Wars film franchise, was attacked around 3am on Wednesday 1st November, near to the Dundee University Student Union in Smalls Wynd, Dundee.

He was later taken to Ninewells hospital for treatment.

It’s believed the attacker was dressed up as Jesus Christ.

Officers would like to trace a man described as in his mid 20s, about 5ft 10 and medium build, with long brown hair, a beard, and wearing long robes.

A spokesman for the force said: “If you have any information that can help our enquiry, please call 101.
