Japanese film crews head to Susan Boyle's home for show

JAPANESE broadcasters are coming to the Lothians to create a programme about singing sensation Susan Boyle.

The phenomenon surrounding the Blackburn singer will form the focus of the show, to be featured on Tokyo News Remix, with fans invited to take part in filming.

The production team is expected to film at a number of locations in the town, including Susan's house and the Happy Valley pub where she was a regular at its karaoke nights.

Susan Boyle fans are requested to make themselves known to crews who will be in the town on 4 September, along with US fans Leslie McMillan and her husband Del.

Yoshiko Uno-Flukes, from the production team, said: "We are visiting Susan Boyle spots with two big Susan Boyle fans and are looking for more people to join the tour for filming.

"It would be amazing if people could wear Susan T-shirts or badges, or anything that would show their support for Susan."
