Jacko fans' chance to thrill

Open auditions are to be held for a young singer to play Michael Jackson in a West End stage show.

Thriller - Live celebrates Jackson's career and producers are looking for a young black or dual-heritage boy with an unbroken voice, aged 11 to 15, to play him in his early years. Producers are also looking for male and female adult singers capable of playing 18 to 25.

The auditions will be held at the Playhouse Theatre on Tuesday afternoon. To audition, bring a passport-style photo and CV or details of any performing experience. Registration is at 2pm for adults and 4pm for boys. Adults should prepare any Michael Jackson song, and boys should prepare to sing either Ben, I Want You Back or I'll Be There.
