It's game on for new course

A NEW computer games development course will start next month at Telford College.

Places are still available on the HND Computer Games Development course, which gives students the chance to study various technologies and techniques used in the video games industry.

This course covers the design, planning and management of video games and teaches a variety of skills, such as 2D and 3D animation using Flash and 3D Studio Max, programming and games design theory.

Design, media and computing lecturer Nigel Kennington said: "Studying computer games development at Telford allows students to learn the skills and gain the experience to help them on the path to an innovative and rewarding career in the computer games industry."
