It's forward march for Army wives

THE WIVES and children of soldiers serving in Afghanistan took part in a half marathon relay on the Royal Mile on Saturday.

It was held to raise funds for injured soldiers who serve with The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland (2 SCOTS) - based at Glencorse Barracks in Penicuik - and their families. The group marched from Edinburgh Castle to the Scottish Parliament, before returning to the esplanade.
