It's a bloody good cause

Musselburgh residents can roll up their sleeves and help save lives at a blood donation session being held in the Brunton Hall next month.

The two-day session runs 10am-12.30pm and 2-6pm on January 23 and 24.

A further blood-giving opportunity will be held at Ross High School in Tranent on Sunday, January 30. Sessions run from 10am-12.30pm and 2-4pm.

Another chance for East Lothian residents to give blood will be held in Prestonpans later in 2011.
