It's all white on the night

TOP executives from drinks company Diageo enjoyed a horse-drawn tour of Edinburgh by night recently.

The firm, which produces White Horse Whisky, managed to find a pair of white horses to take the lead carriage on the whistle-stop tour of the Capital. Just to add to the fun, one of their stops was at the White Horse pub on the Canongate.

Owner Billy Ross said this was the first time anyone had arrived at his pub by white horse.

"They were beautiful actually, and it was a really good idea," he said. "I think Diageo wanted to treat some of their top guys."
