Island house blaze victim is named

An 83-YEAR-OLD man who died in a house fire in the Western Isles has been named by police.

Kenneth MacKenzie was found dead by fire crews called to the property in Strond Road, Leverburgh, on the Isle of Harris at about 2:15pm on Sunday. Northern Constabulary said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
