Islamic militants attack supply base

ISLAMIC militants yesterday attacked a terminal in north-western Pakistan used by lorries carrying supplies for Nato troops in Afghanistan, killing three Pakistani guards.

Elsewhere, a child was killed in an explosion set off by a suicide bomber fleeing from residents who opened fire at him.

The attack took place close to the Afghanistan border.
