Isaacs backs troops charity

Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs has spoken about his reasons for backing troops' charity The Mark Wright Project.

The actor will read Siegfried Sassoon's A Soldier's Declaration at a celebration of the charity's first anniversary on Saturday.

He said: "It's an honour to be asked to get involved with a cause that's close to my heart.

"I've been lucky enough to spend a lot of time with soldiers over the years; in Civvies, Windtalkers, Blackhawk Down and The Green Zone. The opportunity to help and contribute anything to their wellbeing after they haven given so much to protect mine, is an absolute privilege."
