According to Downdetector, the Google Cloud outage is impacting sites including Bank of Scotland, Revolut and the video system used in courts across England and Wales.

Google Cloud has reported widespread issues across the UK and Europe, with dozens of websites affected by outages due to a network failure.

Affected sites and apps include banks, delivery services, and Cloudflare, as well as the video system used in courts across England and Wales, which is also believed to be affected by Google outages.

In a message shared to the Google Cloud Status page, the tech giant wrote they are “experiencing an issue with multiple services in europe-west2”, which started at around 7am UK time. At the head of the update, the issues are said to be affecting services including Google Cloud SQL, Google Cloud Storage, Speech-to-Text, Google Cloud Dataflow and more.

Said to be caused by a power event, which has since been resolved, Google expect to provide an update to service users some time around 1pm.
