From Anderson to MacDonald and 55 different tartans in between, Bru’s Your Clan gives Scots a chance to celebrate their heritage. And with the bottles in stores just in time for Hogmanay, fans can use their tartan-clad bottles to toast friends and family’s Scottish roots Irn-Bru style.

There are 57 individual tartans covering up to 11,000 different surnames—but those who don’t have Scottish roots won’t miss out.

Instead they’ll be invited to join Clan Bru and proudly sport the Irn-Bru tartan.

Adrian Troy, Head of Marketing at AG Barr said: “For a limited time we’re dressing our bottles in some of Scotland’s best known and well-worn tartans to celebrate our rich heritage. Whether you’re 100 per cent Scottish or just have a dash of ginger in your family tree, Bru’s Your Clan gives people the chance to check out their roots, sport their clan colours a and make Irn-Bru their own.”

Irn-Bru tartan bottles hit the shelves today and the limited edition 500ml and 2 litre bottles will be available across Scotland until March 2015.
