Irish artist Finnin floats into Capital

the first Scottish exhibition by celebrated Irish artist Martin Finnin opens at the Corn Exchange Gallery on Constitution Street today.

The Forgotten Art of Floating features a selection of colourful works in oils, acrylic and watercolour from the artist, who lives and works in Ireland.

His work is said to take inspiration from Brancusi, Giacometti, William Orpen, Turner and Rembrandt.

The exhibition is open from 11am, Tuesdays to Fridays, until June 14 and entry is free.
