International speakers focus on city region

A conference on the importance of the wider region around Edinburgh is to be held in the Capital.

The event, which is being staged at Our Dynamic Earth, will include two international speakers: the chairman of Germany's budget and finance committee Heinrich Aller and American local government consultant Chuck Dalldorf.

The event is being hosted by independent think tank CSPP at 9:15am this coming Friday.
