Inquiry into remains found on farmland

POLICE are investigating after human remains were found in a field on farmland on Monday.

Northamptonshire Police were called to the field, in Rothersthorpe, at about 10:45am yesterday after the discovery.

A spokesman said the death was unexplained and there will be a post-mortem examination.
