Injured cyclist moved to unit

A CYCLIST injured in a collision in Roseburn has been transferred to a specialist unit at the Western General Hospital.

The 44-year-old was rushed to hospital after colliding with a Fiat Punto car at about 9.20am on Wednesday.

He has since been transferred to the Western General for treatment to a neck injury.

Police were questioning drivers on Roseburn Terrace yesterday morning in a bid to find any witnesses to the collision. The driver of the car stopped to assist and is helping police with their inquiries.

A police spokeswoman said: "This road would have been very busy in the morning rush hour, and we are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw what happened to get in touch to help with our inquiries."
