Indian temple treasures must be protected

INDIA'S Supreme Court ordered that a security plan be drawn up to protect a Hindu temple where devotees have left billions of pounds worth of treasures over the centuries.

Gold, silver and precious stones have been stored in vaults at the 16th century Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, in the state of Kerala.
