Hyde Park gig for rocker Rod Stewart

Veteran rocker Rod Stewart is headlining the Sunday show at this year's Hard Rock Calling Festival.

The singer, 66, who became a father last month for the eighth time, will play in London's Hyde Park on 26 June.

Hhe 66-year-old's most recent records have seen him reinvented as a crooner of American classics but he made his name as the frontman of raucous rockers The Faces before a series of solo hits made him a massive star on both sides of the Atlantic.
