Hustings event to focus on war in Afghanistan

EDINBURGH North & Leith residents will get the chance to hear their candidates' views on the war in Afghanistan at an Edinburgh Stop The War election hustings tonight.

The anti-war group will host the special debate featuring all of the local general election candidates at the Annandale Street Mosque at 6:30pm.

An Edinburgh STW spokesman said: "This will be the only hustings meeting specifically on Afghanistan, so we hope people will attend from across the city."
