Hunt for dog owner after sheep attack

FOUR sheep have been killed and a further 15 injured after they were attacked by a dog.

The dark brown dog, believed to be a Staffordshire bull terrier, was seen by passers-by in a field at Newbarns farm, Inverkeilor, Angus, on Tuesday. It was restrained and later handed to police, who want to trace its owner and a group of people who were in the area at the time.
