Hunt for dead man's family

POLICE are appealing for information to help trace relatives of a man found dead in his Edinburgh home.

The body of 63-year-old John Frank Welsh was discovered inside his flat at Hailesland Park, Wester Hailes, at around 12:30pm on Monday.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

Mr Welsh was born in London, but officers have no further information relating to him. They are appealing for anyone with information to help locate his next of kin to call 0131-311 3131.
