Hungarian, 96, on war crimes charge

A 96-YEAR-OLD Hungarian has been charged over the killing of about 1,000 civilians in Serbia during the Second World War, the Budapest prosecutors' office said yesterday.

Sandor Kepiro has been charged with war crimes connected to the 1942 massacre at Novi Sad.
