Hotel corpse: man named

POLICE have named a man whose body was found in a hotel car park off the Royal Mile and confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

The body of Alan Boyle, 31, of no fixed address, was discovered in the car park at the Travelodge on St Mary’s Street at around 9.45am on Wednesday.

A post mortem carried out yesterday found his death was non-suspicious.

Mr Boyle was not a guest at the hotel.
