Hotel 11 for Travelodge

Travelodge has opened its eleventh hotel in the Capital.

The 96-bed hotel on Waterloo Place, which opened yesterday cost 7.9 million.

Chief executive officer Guy Parsons said: "Growth in Edinburgh has been one of our priorities. We have committed around 50m to new hotels in the city over the past three years.

"We are very pleased to have secured this fantastic city centre location and are looking forward to adding more hotels in the city over the coming months and years."
