Hospitality jobs pledge

Scottish youngsters had the chance to show their skills to hospitality leaders at an event at Prestonfield House Hotel.

Companies such as Prestonfield, Apex Hotels, Premier Inn and Crerar Hotels pledged to create jobs for 18-24 year olds.

More than 160 were at the British Hospitality Association show, which had Almond ­Valley MSP Angela Constance as the key speaker.

BHA chief executive Ufi Ibrahim said: “We were absolutely delighted with the number of people who attended.”
