Horse rescued from swimming pool

A HORSE had to be rescued from a swimming pool it had accidentally fallen into.

The four-year-old gelding, named Mischief (below), walked on to the pool's plastic covering on a farm next to its home in the New Forest, Hampshire.

The animal was sedated by a vet before firefighters were able to rescue it.
