Homing in on help for OAPs

A MAJOR investment is to be made in telehealth across the Lothians which will allow more patients to monitor their own wellbeing from home.

The Scottish Government will pump 10 million into an initiative which will help thousands of elderly and disabled people across the area.

Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon said: "Supporting people to live independently at home is a key priority for the government. We know it is generally better for people's health."
