Homes plan for mill

A DEVELOPER is set to build nearly 50 new homes on the site of a former paper mill.

Thomas Mitchell Homes wants to build 36 flats and ten houses on land formerly occupied by the Dalmore Mill in Milton Bridge, Penicuik.

Curtis Fine Papers closed the plant in June 2004 with the loss of 127 jobs. Midlothian Council will consider the plan at a future meeting.
