Homes plan approved for campus site

A FORMER college campus in Midlothian is set to be transformed after plans for a new multi-million-pound housing development were approved by council chiefs.

West Register (Realisations) Ltd will build 110 houses and 30 flats on the former site of Jewel & Esk Valley College in Eskbank, Dalkeith.

College bosses sold the site for an eight-figure sum in 2007 to help fund new campuses.
