Home front spirit to raise a smile in Musselburgh

THE spirit of the Forties will be brought to life at the Brunton Theatre with its production of Keep Smiling Through.

The tale, based on Dave Batchelor's Radio 4 series The Home Front, tells of the extraordinary lives of those who stayed at home during the war, using real diaries, news bulletins and songs from the time.
