Home from home office

A little bit of New York is coming to Edinburgh, with a free event for home workers at The Melting Pot on Rose Street.

Jelly was started in New York three years ago by IT freelancers working from home who felt the need to get out more.

Managing director Claire Carpenter said: "Jelly is a friendly way for home workers to get out of their home office for a change of scene, a good chat and a shot of inspiration."

The Melting Pot will provide free wi-fi access, Fairtrade tea and coffee, workspace and comfy sofas from 2pm to 9pm on January 27.
