Hollywood ride for city stunt cyclist

A DAREDEVIL cyclist whose stunts made him a YouTube celebrity has described landing a role in a major Hollywood film as "beyond crazy".

Danny MacAskill, 24, shot to fame earlier this year when a film was posted on the popular internet site showing him performing incredible leaps and somersaults around the Capital.

Now that fame has seen him offered the chance to put his talent on the big screen, in a new action movie called Premium Rush.

"Having a Hollywood director phone me up and ask me to be in his film is beyond crazy," he said.

"My understanding is that I'd be the stunt double for the main character in the film."

It has been suggested the role could make him a millionaire.
