Holiday scam victims alert

POLICE are urging any victims in the Lothians of an alleged holiday company scam that targets elderly victims to come forward.

Detectives in Florida are investigating the Your Holiday Getaway company, which is suspected of offering fraudulent discount packages paid for using a credit or debit card. A 76-year-old woman from Coldstream in the Scottish Borders contacted police after being defrauded of around 1500 in January.
