Highlight of military year

THE Edinburgh International Climbing Arena at Ratho will play host tomorrow and Wednesday to the European Military Climbing Championship.

British climbers from the Royal Navy, Army and RAF will pit their skills against their counterparts from six other European nations during the annual competition.

Ninety competitors will compete in three disciplines over two days.

The centre is open to the public during the event and spectators are welcome to attend.
