High praise for HIV help

A GROUP of former Moderators has praised the work of the Kirk's HIV charity as it hit a £1 million fundraising milestone.

This year alone, almost 200,000 has been raised for the Church of Scotland HIV/AIDS Project, which supports care across the world.

Dr Andrew McLellan, former Moderator and one-time minister of St Andrew's & St George's Church, said: "The project has been encouraging congregations to face up to tough questions on HIV."
