Hidden Gems: Christopher Ness Jewellery

WHETHER you opt for round, emerald cut, pear or square-shaped, diamonds have been a style and commitment statement since the first dazzling stone was chipped from the earth.

But while many opt for the biggest diamond possible, quality and craftsmanship are of far greater importance.

Enter Christopher Ness Jewellery. The Dundas Street jeweller certainly knows his stuff. He is the fourth generation of his family to enter the trade but, at just 17, left the Capital to train in London's jewellery quarter in Hatton Garden. Ten years later in 2001, Christopher returned to his home town and opened his own workshop, specialising in 18 carat, platinum and silver handmade jewellery.
