Hickory golf picks charities

THIS year's World Hickory Festival of Golf will raise money for The Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research at Edinburgh University and mobility charity Keepers of the Green.

Vintage clubs made of hickory are used, and golf will be played at Musselburgh Links, Craigielaw, Archerfield and Gullane from 20-24 September, with a dinner at Gullane on 23 September.
